The Firefighter and I knew that we wanted to go on a pretty amazing trip for our honeymoon, which is why we didn’t take off immediately after our wedding. Waiting until the fall allowed us to recover from all of the wedding craziness and also gave us something to look forward to in the interim.
The Firefighter had never been overseas before, so my goal while planning the itinerary was to try and see as much as possible within about a two-week time period. Happy Valentine’s Day!
I’m excited because this is the first Valentine’s Day that the Firefighter and I have actually ever been in the same place for – in the past one of us has always been away for work. I’ve come out the other side of this feeling proud of myself and accomplished for seeing this through. I’m overall happy with how I feel on a day-to-day basis and I have new thoughts and feelings about the food I eat.
