I first came across this phrase about 7 years ago when I was reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. The phrase, which means ‘the beauty of doing nothing’, comes up when Gilbert describes how difficult it is for her to simply relax and enjoy herself; that Americans as a whole do not really know how to do nothing.

I can’t believe it’s been more than three months since my last post, but there also hasn’t been a lot of time to spare. The moments I wasn’t at work or sleeping were dedicated to wedding planning, traveling for the wedding or some kind of wedding related event.
